Context

At Rival my title was Senior Product Manager, Client Success & Implementation. The job I ran was engagement director for every Kroenke Sports & Entertainment property in the Denver market. The deployments were concurrent, and the executive audience was shared.

Problem

Enterprise data and platform requirements were in the way of a real zero-to-one launch. A market-wide book also needs reporting good enough that a risk is visible while it can still be moved.

Approach

I re-architected the core data platform so it could meet those enterprise requirements. Around the launch I operationalized program governance, risk mitigation, and executive reporting.

The re-architecture supported a successful zero-to-one client launch. That launch and the platform work contributed to Ticketmaster’s $100M acquisition of Rival.
